		<title>Comment on Many college teams schedule weaker non-conference opponents to start the their season. Six wins qualifies you for a bowl game, ahould these games count? Why? by Richard Smith</title>

		<description>I feel the games should count. I am a huge college football fan, and I feel that the players and coaches work too hard for the games not to. Obviously I agree that there should be some type of change to make it more competitive, but to not let the game count at all is just ridiculous in my opinion. It is unfair to punish the student athlete; they do not make the schedule. If the Athletic Directors, NCAA, or BCS were to do anything they should make it seven games to be eligible for a bowl game! I do not like seeing 6-6 teams in bowl games. They do not have a winning record and the team is mediocre at best. A team should have a WINNING record to be eligible period! Obviously these bowl games are about money, but they should be competitive as well. Clearly it is all about revenue so I do not see this changing in the near future. The fan should not be left without fault too. They are buying the tickets. If the fan does not want to go they are not forcing them to. If people want change you have to hit the executives where it hurts, and that’s their wallets.</description>
